The position of Technical Project Specialist, grade J is a full-time position at 37.5 hours per week; the annual salary will be $54,700 and is payable on a semi-monthly basis. Your effective date will be October 1, 2022. Employment at the Somerset County Library System is at-will. AuthorCrystal Hooper is a distance learning SLIS graduate student at the University of Alabama. She works as a technical project specialist for the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey. At work, Crystal was the project manager who oversaw the relocation of the Mary Jacobs Library collection into a new facility in Montgomery, NJ. Crystal also serves as treasurer and co-chair for the New Jersey Association of Library Assistants, moderating virtual programs, engaging with other library support institutions, and providing training to library paraprofessionals. Originally from Wisconsin, Crystal moved to New Jersey with her husband in 2013. Together, they have two sons and two cats. Crystal enjoys writing fiction and aspires to get her stories published.
