I collaborated with staff members of two other TLC ILS system library workers to identify the similarities and struggles we shared when using the web-based version of our ILS system. Together, we created a PowerPoint to present at the TLCU virtual conference in November 2022. The 100 attendees well received our panel talk.

The NJLA Poster Sessions Committee has accepted your poster session proposal entitled If You Ain't a Librarian...We're the Group for You! for presentation on Friday, June 3rd from 11 AM to 12 PM at the 2022 NJLA Conference at the Harrah's Conference Center in Atlantic City, NJ. The Committee requests that you set up your poster and materials in the morning (starting as early as 9 AM) at any available poster session table. AuthorCrystal Hooper is a distance learning SLIS graduate student at the University of Alabama. She works as a technical project specialist for the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey. At work, Crystal was the project manager who oversaw the relocation of the Mary Jacobs Library collection into a new facility in Montgomery, NJ. Crystal also serves as treasurer and co-chair for the New Jersey Association of Library Assistants, moderating virtual programs, engaging with other library support institutions, and providing training to library paraprofessionals. Originally from Wisconsin, Crystal moved to New Jersey with her husband in 2013. Together, they have two sons and two cats. Crystal enjoys writing fiction and aspires to get her stories published.
